Total Teacher Accountability Improves the Quality of Teaching and Learning

Teachers are accountable two ways - Directly and Indirectly.  They are Directly responsible for the dissemination and impartation of knowledge.  They are Indirectly responsible for their influence, the changing of perspective, transformation of initiative and the development of aptitude.

Themselves

Teachers are still en route - learners among learners. Their process of learning should not stop when they have earned their degree or received their credential. Since students learn and assimilate from their instructors, then instructors must continuously develop to 

ensure that their students have a storehouse of knowledge from which to draw. 

Students

Teachers must create a hunger for knowledge in each one of their students. John Gregory – a noted scholar once stated, "True teaching is not that which gives knowledge, but that which stimulates pupils to gain it. One might say that he teaches best who teaches least." Remember TASK™ is founded in the principle that To Teach is to Cause to Learn.

Parents

Many families of the families of student

The Governing Body

School Administrations endeavor to hire faculty and staff that possess the ability to impart knowledge and draw out of the learner that which is in them. 

Teachers are accountable for causing students to learn. This is what is formally referred to as Education!!! Education is the impartation of requisite knowledge and skills. Requisite knowledge are the concepts and understanding you acquire by experience. Skills are abilities you gain through practice. As a teacher, you must be able to apply the requisite knowledge and skills to every aspect of life appropriately and further cause your students do the same
